Getting Around Toledo

Toledo is the fourth most populous city the state of Ohio. Many people visit this city for recreational, social, or business reasons. When visiting Toledo, Ohio it is important to know what kind of transportation to use to get to, from, and around the city.

Visitors have a few different options when traveling to and from the city. Traveling by plane is probably the fastest option. The Toledo Express Airport has five connecting airlines. These include Continental Connection, Delta Connection, American Eagle, Allegiant Air, and NWA Airlink. Amtrak also offers travelers the option of taking a train to Toledo. There are bus stations in the city for major companies, such as Greyhound. Driving is also an option and allows visitors to use their own car for daily travel.

There are also a few taxi services like Yellow Cab of Toledo and Best Cab. Those that prefer to use public transportation will not be disappointed. There is a citywide bus system provided by the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority. This is one of the more common forms of transportation within the city. There is also a trolley that runs during lunchtime hour’s downtown. The trolley’s hours and the fact that it stops at some popular restaurants along its route have caused it to be known as the Lunch Line.
